Introducing Beverly

Bev began her career with Nationwide Building Society when she left college in 1988, progressing to Customer Service Manager.  She then worked for HSBC as cashier and then Clerical Medical in their Life, Pensions and Investment division. The business evolved to Lloyds Banking Group, where she worked for the group a total of 20 years.

She left the bank in December 2020 due to a restructure of their Personal Wealth division and joined a firm of Independent Financial Advisers.  She joined Bowmore Financial Planning in May 2023, where she continues to do what she enjoys the most, and that is to assist our clients on a daily basis.

What do you enjoy most about your jo?

No two days are the same and that is what I like about the variety of the role. I also like being able to speak with our clients and helping them wherever I can.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

Spending time with my partner, family, friends and cats! Walking, when the weather is good, trips away and good food and wine!

One thing that is guaranteed to make your day better…

Having a laugh, no matter what the day brings!

What made you decide to do the work you’re currently doing?

I have worked in Financial Services since leaving college, so what I do now has evolved over time.

What is one personal rule that you never break?

Be kind to people and to animals.
