Introducing Vicki

Vicki started reviewing Personal Pensions back in 2001, moving into Stockbroking in 2007.

After 10 years of administering EIS accounts she moved into researching protection products. Making the move to Bowmore to become a Trainee Paraplanner seemed the next logical move, bringing all of her background into one place.

She won the Defaqto Star Baker award in 2022.

Tell me more

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love how no two days are the same. Variety is the spice of life.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

I love going out for afternoon tea or a picnic with friends. I am learning how to crochet. I am a keen baker.

What made you decide to do the work you’re currently doing?

I fell into Financial Services 22 years ago. When I left that job 7 years later I said I wouldn’t go back into Financial Services, but here we are 15 years later, and I haven’t left. Having done administration and research I wanted to put all my experience together and now I’m a trainee paraplanner.

What is one personal rule that you never break?

Treat people how I want to be treated.
